Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Forrest Hellard #41213 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Middle Mile Powers Solid 5K Finish Forrest Hellard covered the Boulderthon 5K in 27:03, an 8:43 per mile pace, finishing 39th in the men's 30-34 division. Hellard's race built momentum in the middle mile, dropping his pace to 7:32 for mile two after an 9:08 opening mile, before settling to 9:35 over the closing stretch. That middle mile stands as the fastest stretch of his race. Running the distance at Boulder's altitude, over 5,000 feet, adds context to the effort behind that pace shift.
