Strong Pace Control Fuels Top-20 Finish Melissa Lacrosse crossed the line in 43:52 at the 2026 Boulderthon 10K, placing 59th overall and 16th among women in a field of 3,071 good for second in the F40-44 division. That result builds on her 2024 Boulderthon appearance, where she completed the half marathon in 1:38:22. Lacrosse opened fast, covering her first mile in 6:33, the quickest stretch of her race, and held her cumulative pace in the 6:446:56 range through mile four before easing slightly to finish at a 7:04 min/mile average. The race started in downtown Boulder, at over 5,000 feet of elevation, and finished on the Pearl Street Mall a fitting stage for a well-paced, evenly run 10K.
