Steady Pace Carries Boulder Runner Through 10K Yuko Mori finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 58:32, an average pace of 9:26 per mile. Mori's race stayed even through the first four miles, holding right around 9:069:16 cumulative pace before easing slightly as fatigue crept in. Her strongest stretch came in miles 1 through 2, where she covered the distance in 9:06 per mile, the fastest of her race. The closing miles slowed modestly, a common pattern as Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet makes itself felt late in a race. Overall, a controlled, consistent effort from start to finish on a course that ends on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
