Sofia Jones Slices Nearly 30 Minutes Off Her Half Marathon Sofia Jones finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:45:18, placing 553rd overall and 132nd among women. That's a sharp improvement over her 2025 result of 2:14:40, shaving almost 30 minutes and moving up more than 2,300 spots in the overall field. Her race was strongest early: the first six miles clicked by at roughly 7:31 per mile, the fastest sustained stretch of her day. Pace eased through the middle miles before tightening again near the finish. Jones crossed the line on the Pearl Street Mall, closing out a course that starts and finishes in downtown Boulder at over 5,000 feet of elevation a backdrop that makes her pace progression this year all the more notable.
