Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Tiffany Marquez #41054 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Start Fades Late in the Field Tiffany Marquez finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 37:32, covering the 3.1-mile course through downtown Boulder. Marquez opened with her fastest mile of the day, clocking 10:59, and held a similar rhythm through mile two at 11:16, keeping her cumulative pace near 11:07 per mile. The final mile slowed to 14:03, pulling her overall pace to 12:06 per mile by the finish. That early pace, sustained at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, made for a solid first two-thirds of the race worth revisiting that closing stretch to see if a touch more remains there next time.
