Strong Early Pace Fades Late But Recovers for the Finish Jason Amin completed the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 4:36:51. He opened briskly, holding roughly 9:00-per-mile pace through the first ten miles, then eased through the middle miles before a tougher stretch from 18 to 21, where pace slowed to the 1115 minute range. He rallied over the final miles, closing with a 10:05 mile 26 to bring it home. His standout mile came at mile 11, clocked in 8:41, the fastest of his race. Amin's course took him out past Boulder Reservoir and through the county backroads before the final push into downtown Boulder, finishing on the Pearl Street Mall. Along the way, he passed through the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 22.5, not long before his late-race rebound. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, his steady overall effort across 26.2 miles stands as a solid showing.
