Steady Miles Close Out a Solid 5K Finish Connor Badalich finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 33:16. Racing in downtown Boulder, he moved through the race with a strong middle stretch, dropping to a 9:48 pace over mile two after opening in 10:29, before settling in to close out the final mile. Badalich's second mile stood out as his fastest of the race, a solid surge in the middle of the course. That mid-race pace shift shows good control, and building on that strength through the final stretch could be a natural next step for his continued development in this event.
