Strong Start Fuels Top-Tier Half Marathon Finish Alan Navarro finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:21:59, placing 48th overall and 41st among men in a field of 7,223. Navarro opened fast, covering the first mile in 5:13 his quickest of the race and held sub-6:00 pace through mile six. The middle miles cooled slightly, with miles seven through ten settling between 6:39 and 6:43, before a strong mile 12 split of 5:55 pulled his overall pace back down. He closed with a 6:50 final mile to lock in his finishing time. Racing at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Navarro's steady effort carried him out past Boulder Reservoir and back into downtown Boulder, finishing on the historic Pearl Street Mall.
