Strong Middle Mile Fuels Solid 5K Finish Tanish Nagrani completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 27:09, an 8:45 per mile pace across the 3.1-mile course. His race unfolded in three distinct stretches: an opening mile at 9:25, a sharp surge to 7:38 for mile two his fastest of the race before settling back to 9:02 over the closing mile. That middle-mile push marked the clear high point of his effort. Racing at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Nagrani finished on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder. With that strong second mile in hand, he might look to carry more of that pace into the final stretch next time out.
