Steady Pace Powers a Strong Half-Marathon Finish Emmanuel Sanchez finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:39:25, averaging 7:35 per mile. He placed 329th overall and 267th among men in a field of 7,223. Sanchez ran a tight, controlled race, holding between 7:21 and 7:39 pace through the first ten miles. Mile 11 saw a brief dip to 8:41, but he responded immediately with his fastest mile of the race in mile 12 at 7:08, before closing with a 7:20 final mile. That rebound from mile 11 to mile 12 stands out as the strongest surge of his race, showing solid finishing strength. With the finish along the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, sitting above 5,000 feet, his consistent pacing over the closing miles reflects well-managed effort at altitude.
