Strong Early Pace Fades Before a Late Rally to the Finish Undarmaa Bandi completed the Half Marathon at the 2026 Boulderthon in 2:46:16, an average pace of 12:41 per mile. Her first six miles were the highlight of the day, run in a tight band between 10:45 and 11:36 per mile, showing strong early control. The middle miles slowed, with the ninth through twelfth miles slipping into the 12:4517:22 range, before she closed with a strong final mile at 12:11, finishing with more life than she carried through the middle of the course. Boulder sits above 5,000 feet, a backdrop worth noting for any effort at this distance. Her ninth and tenth miles came right around the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 9.5, a useful marker as she works on sustaining her early rhythm deeper into future races. She closed out her race on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
