Fast Start, Strong Finish Bookend a Steady Half Ty Parsons finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:33:45, placing 197th overall and 162nd among men in a field of 7,223. His opening mile was his fastest of the day at 6:47, and after settling into the low-7:00s through the middle miles, he closed with back-to-back splits of 7:04 and 7:01 over the final two miles his strongest sustained stretch of the race. Miles 8 through 11 saw his pace ease into the 7:20s and 7:30s, including a 7:37 split for mile 11, before he reeled it back in for the finish. That late surge came as he passed near the lululemon Power-Up Zone around mile 9.5, and carried him to a confident finish on the Pearl Street Mall.
