Steady Pace Carries Her to a Top-10% Half Marathon Finish Ashlyn Foss ran 1:48:00 to finish 665th overall and 173rd among women in the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon, placing her in the race's top 10 percent. It marks a sharp turnaround from her 2025 Boulderthon Marathon, where she finished in 4:26:35 at a 10:10 pace this year's half came in nearly two minutes per mile faster. Foss ran a controlled, even race, holding between 8:06 and 8:26 cumulative pace through the first ten miles. Her strongest stretch came from miles 4 through 6, where she clicked off 7:50, 7:57, and 7:37 splits, her fastest mile of the day. A quieter patch around mile 11 slowed her slightly before she closed strong, finishing the final mile in 7:27. The course, run at over 5,000 feet of elevation, ended on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
