Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Elizabeth Beasley #40340 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Age-Group Win Highlights a Faster 5K Elizabeth Beasley won the 60-64 age division at the 2026 Boulderthon 5K, finishing in 27:30 improving on her 27:43 from the 2025 race. She also moved up in her division, having placed second in that age group last year. Beasley's pacing showed a strong middle mile: after opening in 8:49, she surged to a 7:50 second mile, her fastest stretch of the race, before easing to 9:50 over the final mile to the Pearl Street Mall finish. That middle-mile burst was the highlight of an otherwise steady effort. Running at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, her time reflects solid, consistent output across the distance, with the front-loaded pacing suggesting she might consider holding a bit more in reserve for an even stronger closing mile next time.
