That middle-mile surge stands out as the highlight of his race, showing a clear capacity to shift gears mid-course. With Boulder sitting over 5,000 feet of elevation, that push adds extra weight to the effort. A slightly more even split between miles two and three could help him carry that momentum through to the line next time.
