That performance marks a step forward from his 2025 Boulderthon Half Marathon, where he ran 7:15/mile this year's pace was noticeably sharper. The race opened strong, with Jacob clocking a 6:15 opening mile and holding sub-6:40 pace through mile two. That early speed set the tone: his first three miles averaged well under 6:50/mile, the fastest stretch of the race, before easing slightly over the closing miles.
