Big Time Drop Highlights Strong 5K Finish Parth Makker crossed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 1:02:55, a sizable improvement over his 1:17:04 finish in the 2025 race more than 14 minutes faster over the same distance. Makker's pace moved steadily across the course: a brisk opening mile at 17:15, a slight easing to an 18:31 second mile, then a marked slowdown to 25:36 over the final mile, pushing his cumulative pace to 20:26 min/mile by the finish. His opening mile stood as the strongest stretch of the race, run well ahead of his overall average pace. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, the early pace was a strong showing before the late-race fade.
