Steady Start Gives Way to a Strong Finish Kick Daryl Lonnon completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 32:27, an average pace of 10:28 per mile. Lonnon's race unfolded in two distinct phases. He opened with a brisk first mile in 10:04, then picked up the pace to 9:41 for mile two, his fastest mile of the race. The final mile slowed to 11:39, tempering his overall average but still capping off a race run in a city sitting above 5,000 feet of elevation. The middle mile stands out as his standout stretch, a clip nearly 30 seconds faster than his overall pace, suggesting he found his rhythm before the closing miles caught up with him.
