Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Sydnie Schindler #32642 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Strong Finish Kick Highlights Steady 10K Effort Sydnie Schindler crossed the line in 53:13, an 8:35 min/mile pace, placing 273rd overall and 90th among women in a field of 3,071 at the 2026 Boulderthon 10K. Her race unfolded in two distinct halves: after opening miles near 8:25, the middle miles drifted toward 8:53 before she found her best rhythm of the day, clocking 8:01 in mile five her fastest mile of the race. That surge was followed by a natural settling in the final mile as she closed out the distance. Racing at altitude in Boulder, over a mile above sea level, her ability to rebound mid-race stands out as the highlight of an otherwise evenly paced effort.
