Strong Middle Mile Powers a Solid 5K Finish Gabriela Contreras crossed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 27:05, an 8:44 min/mile pace, finishing 335th overall and 8th in the F 40-44 division. Her race built momentum through the middle before tightening at the close: she opened in 8:54, surged to 7:30 for mile two her fastest mile of the day then eased to 9:47 over the final stretch to the line.
