Strong Start Fuels a Solid 5K Finish Lexi Jenkins completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 33:29. Her race opened well, with a first mile in 10:11 followed by a quicker second mile in 9:16, pulling her cumulative pace down to 9:43 per mile at the two-mile mark before the final mile settled to close out the race. That second mile stood out as her strongest stretch of the day, showing a solid gear once she found her rhythm. Jenkins joins a 5K field that finished on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a city sitting at over 5,000 feet of elevation a backdrop worth noting for any runner adjusting to the thinner air.
