Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Kevin Snyder #31686 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Miles, Strong Finishing Kick in the 10K Kevin Snyder completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 58:29, an average pace of 9:26 per mile. Snyder's early miles held close together, from 8:54 through the opening mile to a 9:42 fourth split, before mile five dropped to 8:49, his fastest of the race. That surge briefly eased his cumulative pace back toward 9:16 before the final stretch pushed the overall average to 9:28. The race unfolded as a story of consistency broken by that one strong mile, a pattern worth noting for pacing on future starts at Boulder's altitude, which sits above 5,000 feet.
