Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Teagan Miyazaki #40181 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

A Strong Middle Mile Powers a Solid 5K Finish Teagan Miyazaki crossed the line in 32:05, good for 21st in the F 15-19 division. Her race built steadily: an opening mile at 10:31, then a strong surge to 9:15 for mile twoher fastest mile of the daybefore easing to 11:13 over the closing stretch. Running at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Miyazaki's pacing shows a runner capable of finding another gear mid-race. Sustaining that second-mile rhythm through the finish could be a fun goal for the next 5K.
