Age-Group Champion Paces Steady Finish at Boulderthon 10K Jeff Dumas won the M75+ division at the 2026 Boulderthon 10K, crossing in 1:01:09. He led his age group from the first mile onward, holding that position through every checkpoint on the way to a decisive division title. His race unfolded in two distinct halves: a strong opening 5K in 28:31, followed by a second half that eased slightly as the miles accumulated. The fifth mile stood out as his fastest full-mile split of the day at 9:17, a nice surge before the finishing stretch. Racing at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Dumas kept his effort well-managed across the course, a smart approach worth carrying into future starts if he's looking to hold pace even later into the race.
