Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Jeremiah Maestre #30029 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Strong Start Fuels Top-Tier 10K Finish Jeremiah Maestre crossed the line in 48:27, good for 131st overall and 94th among men in a field of 3,071. That result reflects a race built on an early surge his opening mile came in at 7:08, the fastest of his day, before settling into the 7:20-7:50 range through the middle miles. The back half told a story of persistence at altitude. After ticking up to an 8:04 split in mile four, Maestre rebounded with a 7:26 fifth mile, his second-fastest of the race and a sign of strong closing control before the finish. Racing through Boulder's thinner air above 5,000 feet, holding that kind of mid-race rebound speaks well of his pacing instincts, even as the final mile cost him some time.
