Steady Pace Carries Roche to a Strong 10K Finish Katherine Roche finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 55:45, an 8:59 min/mile average pace, placing fourth in the F45-49 division. Roche's cumulative pace held in a tight band across the race, never straying beyond a range of 8:52 to 9:02 min/mile through five miles a mark of consistent effort. Her strongest mile came between miles four and five, covered in 8:17, the fastest full mile of her race. She eased slightly in the final mile before finishing on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a course that starts near Boulder Reservoir at over 5,000 feet of elevation.
