Strong Start, Steady Finish in the 10K Caitlyn Yerke crossed the line in 46:36, good for 94th overall and 25th among women in a field of 3,071 at the 2026 Boulderthon 10K. Racing at over 5,000 feet of elevation, she opened with her fastest mile of the day, a 6:56, then held pace in the low 7:00s before easing slightly through the middle miles. Her cumulative pace stayed under 7:20/mile through five miles, a mark of well-managed effort across the course. The final mile brought a natural fade as the race wound down, but the overall pacing patternfast out, controlled through the middlereflects sound execution. With a base like this, Yerke could experiment with holding her early rhythm a bit longer into the back half in future 10Ks.
