Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Laura Leduc #40019 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Steady Effort Caps a Consistent 5K Through Downtown Boulder Laura Leduc finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 30:16, an average pace of 9:45 per mile, out of a field of 2,677. Her opening mile came in at 9:41, followed by a strong second mile at 9:05 - her fastest of the race - before easing to a 10:37 close. That middle-mile surge shows a solid ability to shift gears mid-race, and with a touch more even pacing across all three miles, there's a chance to convert that mid-race speed into an even faster overall time. The race finished on the Pearl Street Mall, a fitting downtown Boulder finish to a well-run 5K.
