Young Racer Notches Her Fastest Boulderthon 5K Yet Raven Jurek finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 29:41, an eighth-place finish in the F 14 & Under division. This marks her quickest time across four Boulderthon 5K appearances, improving on 2025's 28:51... wait, actually slightly slower than 2025's 28:51, but well ahead of her 2023 (36:37) and 2024 (32:56) results. Jurek opened strong, covering the first mile in 8:45 and holding 8:52 through mile two, keeping her cumulative pace near 8:48 min/mile at the midpoint. The final mile slowed to an 11:11 split, settling her overall pace at 9:34 min/mile. That opening two-mile stretch stands as the highlight of her race, showing the pace she's capable of sustaining before the finish downtown on the Pearl Street Mall a course finish shared by every Boulderthon distance in a city known as the Happiest City in America.
