Her pace tightened from 7:20 to 6:46 per mile, and her overall placement climbed by 36 spots. The race unfolded steadily, with per-mile splits mostly in the 6:40s, a brief dip to 7:02-7:03 through miles 7-8, then a rally to close. Mile 12 stood out as her fastest full mile at 6:31, coming right as she passed near the lululemon Power-Up Zone around mile 9.5 earlier in the race. She finished on the Pearl Street Mall, closing strong after that late surge.
