Women's Half Marathon Champion Delivers Steady, Sub-6 Pace Throughout Emily Durgin won the women's half marathon in 1:16:40, finishing 22nd overall out of the field of 7,223 at the 2026 Boulderthon. Her mile splits stayed remarkably tight, ranging from 5:39 to 6:02, with cumulative pace never drifting outside a 5:445:52 window. Mile 12 was her standout stretch at 5:39, a strong surge after holding steady pace through the middle miles. Durgin's consistency carried her from downtown Boulder to the finish on the Pearl Street Mall, closing with the same control she showed from the opening mile. Racing at altitude above 5,000 feet, she managed even effort without any significant fade, a mark of well-paced execution over the full 13.1 miles.
