Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Jorg Bolke #30193 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles
Age-Group Win Powers a Strong 10K Finish Jorg Bolke crossed the line in 49:15, good for 144th overall and 102nd among men in a field of 3,071 and first in the M60-64 division. That age-group win held from the very first mile split and never slipped. The race unfolded as a steady fade rather than a fast start collapsing: mile splits crept from 7:16 up through the 7:40s and 8:00s, with the final mile the slowest of the day. The opening mile was Bolke's standout stretch, banked well under his overall elapsed pace of 7:56 min/mile. At Boulder's altitude above 5,000 feet, holding the division lead wire-to-wire stands as the defining number from this race.
