Strong Pace Through Five Miles Anchors Top-3% Finish Suby Raman crossed the 10K finish in 46:35, placing 93rd overall and 69th among men in a field of 3,071 in the 2026 Boulderthon. His pace held steady through the middle miles, dipping into the low 7:20s before a sharp mile 5 split of 6:46 his fastest stretch of the race pushed his overall pace back toward 7:15 per mile. The final mile eased as he crossed into downtown Boulder, closing out with an elapsed pace of 7:30 min/mile. Raman's mile 5 surge stood out as the highlight of his race, a marked drop from the 7:22 pace he'd built through the first four miles. Given that Boulder sits above 5,000 feet, holding that kind of pace deep into the race speaks well of his conditioning. A touch more consistency between miles 3-4 and that strong fifth mile could offer an interesting target for his next 10K.
