Strong Early Pace, Steady Second Half Francisco Aguirre completed the half marathon in 1:49:50, an overall pace of 8:23 per mile. His fastest stretch came early, covering the first five miles in 37:16 a 7:27 per mile average before the pace gradually eased through the middle and closing miles, settling into the low-to-mid 9:00s per mile from mile seven onward. Racing through Boulder, which sits above 5,000 feet of elevation, Aguirre passed through the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 9.5 before finishing on the Pearl Street Mall. His race came on a half marathon course reshaped for 2026, with net elevation gain reduced nearly 50 percent, from 384 to 203 feet.
