Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Trevor Foley #25597 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles

Steady Sub-6 Pace Powers a Top-15 Half Marathon Finish Trevor Foley finished the half marathon in 1:14:54, placing 15th overall and 15th among men in a field of 7,223, with a runner-up finish in the 25-29 age group. His pace stayed remarkably tight through the race, running between 5:23 and 6:04 per mile across every mile split, holding his cumulative pace within a 20-second band from the first mile to the last. Miles 9 through 12 stood out as his strongest extended stretch, clicking off in 5:36, 5:52, 5:47 and 5:27 after a slightly softer middle stanza around miles 7-8. That surge helped him close with a 5:42 average pace, nearly matching his opening-mile speed despite the effort banked earlier. Racing at altitude in Boulder, sitting over 5,000 feet, Foley's consistency across the full 13.1 miles reflects well-managed pacing from start to finish.
