Strong Early Pace Carries Through Steady Half Marathon Finish Morgan Fleming finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:40:56, an average pace of 7:42 per mile. The opening miles were the quickest of the day, with the first 3 miles clicking off between 7:14 and 7:29 and cumulative pace holding near 7:15 through the fifth mile. A gradual easing followed, with miles 7 through 11 settling into the 7:438:44 range before Fleming closed strong, dropping a 7:23 final mile to bring the overall pace back toward 7:41. Boulder's elevation, over 5,000 feet, adds context to that steady effort across the half marathon distance. The course took Fleming out past Boulder Reservoir and through Boulder County backroads before finishing on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
