Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Romeo Rodriguez #31589 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Pickup Powers a Strong Finish Romeo Rodriguez finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 55:33, averaging 8:57 per mile across the 6.2-mile course. The race unfolded as a progressive build: after a 9:46 opening mile, Rodriguez trimmed his pace steadily, hitting an 8:08 fourth mile as his strongest full-mile stretch of the day. That surge dropped his cumulative pace under 9:00 per mile for good, and he held that effort through the finish in downtown Boulder at over 5,000 feet of elevation. With no prior Boulderthon result on record, this run stands as his baseline for the event.
