Even Pace Anchors a Strong Closing Mile David Foster completed the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:38:00, placing 293rd overall and 240th among men in a field of 7,223. His effort was defined by consistency through the middle of the course, holding between 7:19 and 7:30 pace from mile 2 through mile 12, before closing with his fastest full mile of the race a 7:04 split to the finish. This year marked a shift from his previous two Boulderthon starts, both marathons in 2023 and 2024, to the half distance. His most even stretch came early, miles 3 through 6, each falling within seconds of a 7:20 pace.
