Steady Pace Through the Backroads, Kick at the Mall Kelly Hilleke, 20, of Woody Creek, completed the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 4:33:09, an average pace of 10:25 per mile. His race held remarkably even through the first two-thirds, with mile splits mostly in the 10:1510:25 range and cumulative pace never wavering far from 10:20 per mile. His strongest stretch came from miles 17 to 20, where he clicked off four straight miles between 9:47 and 10:03, pulling his overall pace down before a tougher 21st mile. That surge came as the course wound toward the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 22.5, after which he steadied again for the final miles into the finish on the Pearl Street Mall a strong effort at over 5,000 feet of elevation.
