Strong Finish in Division Christina Couper demonstrated an impressive performance at the 2026 Deseret News Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile course with a final time of 3:05:30, averaging a pace of 7:04 minutes per mile. Her consistent pacing throughout the race solidified her as the first in her division (F30-34) and fourth overall among female participants out of a total field of 544 runners. Remarkably, she displayed substantial acceleration from mile 3 to mile 4, with a standout split of 5:16, which was significantly faster than her average pace. Christina also maintained strong momentum in the final miles, with her final split at a 7:03 pace, ultimately finishing 9th overall.
