His pacing, mainly in the 5:45-5:48 min/mile range, helped maintain his standing among the top participants, especially excelling in the M30-34 division where he frequently ranked in the top 3 during several splits. In terms of overall placement, Jake achieved being consistently within the top 20, capping off with a commendable 4th in his age division by the end.
