Consistently Improving Performance The race began with steady pacing, as each of the first three miles was clocked at an even pace of 11:15 min/mile. Starting from the fourth mile, a noticeable acceleration took place, with splits consistently improving to as fast as 8:04 min/mile between miles 10 and 14. This strategic pacing resulted in an impressive finish, with an overall time of 4:04:17 and pacing at 9:19 min/mile by the end. Demonstrating strong consistency and progressive improvement throughout the race, the team achieved commendable positions, including placing first in their division by mile 25. The team began in 18th place overall and managed to finish in 12th place, moving steadily through the ranks. Their strategy of gradually increasing speed after the initial three miles proved effective, resulting in a solid performance. Focus on maintaining late-race pace could enhance future results further. Great effort!
