Consistent Performance with Strong Finishes Spencer Brown showcased impressive consistency throughout the 10K race at the 2026 Deseret News Marathon. He started strong, leading the pack in the first mile with a blazing split pace of 4:16 min/mile. His pace remained commendable, with his second mile split time at 4:15 min/mile. Although Spencer experienced a slight drop in pace during the third and fourth miles, with paces of 4:49 and 4:40 min/mile respectively, he maintained a competitive position throughout, finishing 3rd overall among 1197 participants. Finishing with a total time of 28:36 and an average pace of 4:36 min/mile, Spencer captured the third spot overall, third in his gender, and second in his division (M25-29).
