Consistent Effort with Strong Performance in Mid-Splits Grace Ormsby demonstrated a consistent performance in the 2026 Deseret News Marathon 10K. Starting with a solid 7:01 min/mile pace, she progressively improved, clocking a faster second split at 6:57 min/mile. This split moved her up in her gender and division rankings, highlighting her ability to find a quicker rhythm early in the race. In the latter stages, her pace slightly eased, with her final split at 8:12 min/mile. While her overall pace was 7:36 min/mile, its noteworthy that she finished strong, improving her overall and gender placements in the last segment. Overall, finishing with a time of 47:12 ranks her 73rd in gender and 26th in her division among a competitive field of 1197 participants.
