As the race progressed, her pace shifted slightly, with miles two and three timed at 7:42 and 11:55 respectively, which saw her drop to a position of 465 overall. Despite this, her determination saw her rise again in the ranks with consistent pacing, pulling back to 286th place by mile six. Diaz completed the 10K in 55:47 with an overall pace of 8:59 min/mile. Among the female participants, she secured 156th place, and in her division (F15-18), she held the 37th spot. There's potential to work on maintaining that initial pace throughout the race to improve her standings.
