Outstanding Consistency and Dominance Allie Ostrander delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Deseret News Marathon 10K. She completed the 6.2-mile race in a remarkable time of 30:50, with an average pace of 4:58 per mile. Her overall placement was 11th out of 1197 participants, and she secured 1st place in both her gender and division categories. Allie maintained a strong start with her first mile at a pace of 4:33 and showed excellent consistency throughout, as each mile remained under 5:20, never faltering in her top position among female runners. The data highlights a slight increase in pace during the latter half of the race, specifically between miles 3 and 6. Encouragingly, Allie still managed to improve her overall position to 10th by the final mile. Maintaining sharper splits could further boost her performance. Nonetheless, her capacity to hold a leading position among her peers was noteworthy and displays significant potential.
