Strong Initial Pace with Consistent Performance David Delatorre from Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, showcased an impressive run at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon. He maintained a strong and consistent pace throughout the race, completing the marathon in 2 hours, 33 minutes, and 26 seconds. His overall pace was 5:51 minutes per mile, a testament to his endurance and speed. David displayed a standout performance in the first half of the race, particularly between miles 3 and 6, where he maintained a pace faster than the average. David secured the top position at certain splits, notably at the 3rd to 6th mile markers; however, slight pacing differences post mile 6 saw a gradual turnover in positioning. Even as his split times increased towards the end, he consistently kept a rhythm, holding 3rd place overall, among 2,277 participants.
