Steady Splits and a Strong Finish Hello from Madison, where a flock of runners trotted through the vibrant Run Madtown 10K! Ted Vaala showcased steady pacing with all mile splits between 7:00 and 7:26 min/mile, culminating in an overall elapsed time of 44:57. Especially exciting was the swift fifth mile with a split time of 7:00 min/mile, highlighting some impressive speed when the energy was high. The initial four-mile consistency also translated into holding overall placement, progressively improving to finish 11th overall and 2nd in his division for M30-34. By mile six, Ted effectively moved up the ranks, showcasing improved speed and stamina, finishing with a pace of 7:15 min/mile. Keep up the great work on pacing; you're flying high like us flamingos!
