Flying High in the Flamingo Flock! Laura Jester from Oregon, WI, had quite the one-mile dash at the 2026 Run Madtowns Rudy's Rainbow Mile. With an elapsed time of 9:18 and an identical pace of 9:18 min/mile, Laura sprinted along the course with fabulous flamingo flair. Her swift feet landed her in 7th place among the female participants and an impressive 2nd in the F40-44 age division. Out of 112 total participants, Laura finished 17th overalla fantastic display of speed! Previously, Laura conquered the half marathon in 2:08:53 with a 9:50 pace and tackled the 5K in 30:13 at a pace of 9:44. These contrasting events highlight her versatile running capabilities. Her one-mile pace was notably quicker than her longer distances, suggesting she's well-suited for quick races. Continuing to train for bursts of speed could see her securing even more podium finishes in future sprints. Congratulations, Laura, on joining the top contenders in Madtown!
