Steady Flamingo Strides Lead to Impressive Finish Jack Statz flew through the 2026 Run Madtown 10K, maintaining a strikingly consistent pace. He completed each mile in under 7:05 minutes, with his fastest mile at 6:43. Notably, he soared from 6th to 3rd place overall by the fourth mile, highlighting a swift and savvy mid-race strategy. Although the pace slightly dipped to 8:12 in mile five, Jack finished strong, securing 5th place overall in a participant pool of 506, and clinching 1st in the M40-44 division. Jack improved his position from the previous years 14th overall finish and maintained his top spot consistency within age groups. His final time was 43:27, a minor increase from his 2025 performance of 43:18.
